It was undoubtedly the huge showbiz story of the weekend but Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’shusband Jean-Bernard has told people not to believe everything they read about their reported divorce.
Stories started to swirl late on Saturday night that the Newcastle born star and her French other half were set to divorce after 18 months of marriage, with some articles suggesting that the split was down to Cheryl growing sick of Jean-Bernard’s jealousy.

But having posted numerous cryptic messages to his Instagram over the past few months after speculation about cracks in their relationship began to mount, Jean-Barnard used the app to hit back once again, posting the message “Out Of The mouth of children comes The Truth… Get informed before you get opinionated…[sic]’
Keeping to his cryptic theme, he later wrote: ‘To be continued... if You Think You Know , You ain’t no idea but be my guest keep on.’
Cheryl herself, while not actually saying anything, has also posted on Instagram since the news broke.
The star posted a selfie on Saturday night, which led to a spree of supportive comments from her legions of fans.
If it does go ahead, the divorce will be X Factor judge Cheryl’s second, following her split from footballer Ashley Cole in 2010.
