She grabbed headlines on Saturday after an awkward on-air encounter with Hamish McLachlan which viewers labelled sexist.
But Miss Universe Australia Monika Radulovic appeared to have brushed off the controversy as she returned to Sydney on Sunday after the Magic Millions races day in the Gold Coast.
Eager to show off her enviable figure, the 25-year-old slipped in to a pair of tiny denim shorts for her flight, adding a pair of white heels to further accentuate her endless legs.
Wearing her brunette tresses flowing loosely around her shoulders, the beauty queen shunned heavy make-up in favour of a more natural look.
She paired her barely-there shorts with a demure white blouse and carried a black handbag slung over one shoulder.
Monika was in high spirits following her flight despite causing controversy on Saturday by spurning McLachlan as he tried to hug air during a live Channel Seven broadcast.
The beauty was presenting from the Gold Coast Turf Club on her first day of the job when McLachlan, 40, wrapped his arms around her in an awkward embrace.
After attempting to continue with her weather report, Monika joked: 'Professional please, my goodness,' when her co-host failed to release her from his grip.
The pair issued an on-air apology moments later after fans took to social media to liken the incident to Mel McLaughlin's interview with cricketer Chris Gayle last week.
'I understand people have made stuff of it on social media and if I've offended anyone at home I'm apologising for that absolutely,' McLachlan told the camera following yesterday's incident.
Gayle was fined $10,000 for his behaviour during the interview with McLaughlin which was labelled as sexist and inappropriate the world over.
He had just played at Sydney's Cricket Ground when McLaughlin approached him for a post-match interview but flirted his way through their chat instead of discussing the sport.
Telling McLaughlin that he liked her 'eyes', he quipped: 'Don't blush baby,' when she became visibly uncomfortable.
A spokesman at Network Ten later revealed she had been left 'angry' and 'embarrassed' by their meeting.
